Happy New Year!

We’re kick-starting the year with a makeover!

Ideas to consider:

The Fresh Start Effect” is in full flow with the start of a new year, a new quarter, and a new month.

Psychologists have found that ‘The Fresh Start Effect’, the beginning of a new period, can increase people’s intentions to initiate goal pursuit.

The New Year, in particular, is an opportunity for us to kick-start new habits and start over on our sales quota.

But it’s not just us that can benefit; you can use a fresh start effect to nudge prospects into action!

Gyms that use a ‘New Year, New You’ message is a great example.

How can you leverage the Fresh Start Effect to ignite your sales?

Question of the week:

One of my favourite questions I consistently come back to when planning for the year is, What makes everything else easier or irrelevant?”

Sales Bites

This week’s quick-fire sales snack is with Maz Farrelly, the producer of the X-Factor, whose content has had 8 billion views. She translates what businesses can learn from the world of TV in order to stand out and pack a punch.

What I’m reading?

I managed lots of reading time over Christmas, and I’m now onto The Diary of a CEO by Steven Bartlett: The 33 Laws of Business and Life.

One law which is speaking to me as I kick start my 2024 goals is “Never Fight a Bad Habit”, instead use a positive action to replace it.

Until next time.
